Meet Jessica Strong, owner and brainchild of A Vintage Affair Rentals.

ISES Denver sat down with Jessica and asked a few questions...

Q:  So Jessica, where do you find all of your gorgeous, vintage pieces?

A:  Estate sales, antique stores, the internet...and sometimes I even make them (like the lemonade stand)!

Q:  Where do you keep all of your inventory? You have some very large pieces!

A:  I keep all of my large items in a 24-ft cargo trailer because it's SO much easier to deliver. My smaller inventory lives on display in my home studio, however I'm looking into the possibility of getting a warehouse for my items.

Q:  What has been your favorite event to style/decorate to date?

A:  My favorite event that I've styled was a recent "Colorado inspired" styled photo shoot. It was featured on Landlockbride.com (a great wedding blog for the midwest and moutain west). Here is the shoot: http://www.landlockedbride.com/2011/09/28/colorado-mountain-bridal-shoot/

Q:  What are you most excited about for your business in the coming year?

A:  I'm excited to continue to grow my inventory and continue to meet great vendors at ISES! I actually just started my business in April of this year and am loving ever minute of it.

Q:  So, YOU are a bride! When is YOUR wedding and what does it look like?

A:  My wedding is in August of 2012 at Devils Thumb Ranch right outside of Winter Park, Colorado. It will be a mix of vintage (of course!) and mountain inspiration. There will be lots of handmade details and a mix of soft colors. I can't wait!

Q:  What are your fave things to do when you're not working?

A:  Trying new restaurants, playing with my two chocolate labs, skiing (gotta love Colorado!), and traveling.
